Alex Thomas is an Oxford-based writer, composer and musician. He is Director of Drama at Magdalen College School, where he also teaches History.
Graduating in History from Magdalene College, Cambridge, in 2004, Alex has gone on to teach History and English at Shrewsbury School and Magdalen College School, Oxford, where he is Director of Drama. He has written various stage adaptations as well as a historical novel, and contributes regularly to ‘Teaching Drama’ magazine. He is also a professional musician and composer, and has written and produced four full-length musicals as well as the scores for various productions. He is 36 and lives with his wife and five young children in Oxford.
